Tools
We have built a wide variety of tools to meet particular underwater challenges. The tools can be used by ROVs or divers but the most important feature of our work is that the tools are thoroughly, and often destructively tested onshore before going into action.
Hot Stabs
These are high pressure hydraulic connections used by ROvs. This is a fixed T-bar with compliant mounts but we can also make compliant T's.
Draxpanders
The Draxpanders were used successfully on the Erika oil recovery job. 800 were made in total. This is a diver operated tool where the drill and the expanding anchor are combined - hence the name Draxpander.
Grouting Connectors
This is a 3" mechanical connection for grout injection into a platform brace as used in the Danish section of the North Sea.
Shackle Pin Extractor
This ROV operable tool can remove a 600T shackle pin while under load.
