Whittaker designed and manufacture this latest five function manipulator. The M5 is a tough, versatile manipulator which is competitively priced. The M5's versatility is such that an ROV with two M5's is a real option rather than a clumsy grabber and a delicate 7 function.

Subsea Christmas Tree Intervention Operation
Whittaker M5 fitted to G3 ROV working on a Subsea Christmas tree Intervention operation. Due to the Whittaker M5 having 180 degree slew the intervention operation, completed ahead of schedule and with far less ROV manoeuvring.
Subsea Christmas Tree Intervention Operation
As part of the Subsea Recovery Operations this photo shows the Whittaker M5 receiving the mooring line from a 7-Function arm during recovery operations. The line was too heavy for the 7-Function and the M5 had to make the connection.
