Hull & Pipe Drilling

We have a long experience in underwater drilling and have developed our own trepanning cutters which offer a high degree of reliability in the most awkward of circumstances. Drilling on flat plates present problems of attachment of the drilling unit, we do this either by bolting through the deck plates by the methods shown in 'Bolting Systems' or by suction feet (sticky feet) or by switchable permanent magnets or electro-magnets. Pipes can be drilled by strapping the drill unit round the pipe using divers or by clamping the drill round the pipe by ROV.
