M5 ROV Manipulator
During the development of the Whittaker M5 a prototype unit was built for use on dry ROV trials. Technip used this on a mock up ROV to check the interface of the M5 to sub sea structures. It also proved the advantage of having the 180-degree slew. The production M5 was built as a result of these trials.
