Manual Machinist

Whittaker Engineer is currently looking to recruit a Manual Machinist.

Whittaker Engineering operates a modern machine shop, fabrication workshop and a mechanical and hydraulic workshop.

The successful candidate should have experience in Operating Manual Machines and relevant experience with a variety of machine tools.

You would be responsible for the accurate and safe operation of machinery ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of machinery and consumables in respect of manufacturers recommendations to ensure fitness for purpose and accuracy. Also ensuring the Quality Assurance System is maintained by diligent upkeep of materials traceability.

Typical Machinery -

· Lathes
· Milling Machines
· Horizontal Borers

Working Hours: (No Shifts)

Basic 39 hour week

Regular Overtime available
